Last week Saski Collection coincided our originals restock with International Women’s Day to generate funds for girls’ education in Sierra Leone and Uganda
Saski Collection donated $10 from every purchase made on Friday March 8, 2019 to commemorate International Women’s Day. The donation will be made to Victoria based charity “One Girl”.
Tammy has taken a personal interest in supporting women and children’s charities, with a desire to use her platform to benefit others. The Saski team coincided the restock of the company’s best selling “Originals” collection and Saski stripe crop tops with the donation day, in the hopes to be able to donate a sizeable amount to One Girl.
“We were looking at a restock around International Women’s Day so the team decided to use this opportunity to give back to women who are struggling around the world. One Girl are doing great things in Sierra Leone to empower and educate women and we are proud to use our platform to generate much needed funds and promote their cause,” Saski owner and founder Tammy Hembrow said.
One Girl is on a mission to break down the barriers that prevent girls from finishing school and have a long history of delivering high quality education programs in the region. So far they’ve helped deliver 431 scholarships, given 1,119 girls and boys access to schooling and educated 13,052 women and girls on menstrual health.
